All Levels Classes: Stillness & Ease
the most gentle

Restorative

with Val

In this class we will move at a slow and mindful pace into poses that are fully supported using blankets, blocks, bolsters, and other props; a perfect opportunity to rest in stillness and release the stresses of everyday life. Postures are held for several minutes allowing you time to drop with ease into a place of deep contentment, rest, and rejuvenation.  

*Prepare for this class by wearing cozy layers and socks!

Yin

with Holly, Crystal, and Niki

In yin yoga we gently stretch connective tissue by relaxing into passive postures that lengthen the body and free up your joints. You will learn to soften your muscles, and your breath, as you observe bodily sensations.

 

Yin yoga generally promotes flexibility in areas often perceived as nonmalleable, especially the hips, pelvis and lower spine.  A meditative and peaceful practice, yin yoga can help you notice and release tension.  It is detoxifying and a lovely counterpoint to any other physical activity you enjoy.

Yin & Restore

with Crystal

Yin and Restore is a calming practice that increases flexibility and gives time and space for meditation. We focus on total body relaxation that activates our parasympathetic nervous system.  Poses are held for 1-10 minutes. Props are encouraged: blankets, pillows, blocks, for extra support as we move through a peaceful practice.

Gentle Flow

with Jackie & Robin

A slower paced practice featuring calming poses, deep stretching and breathing. Leave feeling refreshed and relaxed.

Gentle Yoga 

with Niki

This class is designed for ALL levels.  With an emphasis on doing what works for your body; this class is great for beginners looking to build confidence and any level of student looking for a slower class that still provides strengthening benefits and a grounded, balanced, and rejuvenating practice.

moderate to intense

Barre

with Val

Barre is a full-body, low-impact workout inspired by ballet, pilates and yoga. It targets small muscle groups using body weight, resistance, and repetition. Come dance it out and enjoy a fun class that’s sure to enhance your Friday!

Yoga for Strength 

with Karen

Studies confirm that yoga can be just as effective as weight training for gaining strength and reducing fat. You don't have to be strong to perform the basic yoga poses in this class, but you can expect to build muscle, improve mobility, develop mind-body awareness, and increase muscle activation. This class might even just make your body feel happier.

*This class is appropriate for all levels, including absolute beginners

Hatha
with Marcy, Mike, Nancy, Nicole, and Niki

Build strength and stability, while increasing confidence and sense of being grounded. Build subtle/energetic awareness while learning proper alignment of postures. This class balances a strong physical practice with mindful awareness, breath guidance, and meditation.
*Modifications will be given to accommodate most levels.

Yoga for Strength, Steadiness, and Peace
with Niki

Hatha practice to build strength in the body, steadiness in the mind, and peace throughout. This is a fun and non-judgmental practice that will push your edges. Emphasis is on standing balance, with some classes including other poses of stabilization such as plank, inversions, and arm balances. You will deepen your understanding of alignment, and learn how to be in the poses. This class balances a strong physical practice with mindful awareness and relaxation. Modifications will be given to challenge all levels.

Vinyasa
with
Nicole
Moving through class you will link dynamic movement and breath, steadying your mind into the present moment as you balance, stabilize, and lengthen your body. Connect to your own internal teacher as you build balance, strength, and flexibility.

Mindful Flow

with Niki

Moving through class you will link dynamic movement and breath, bringing your focus to the present moment as you stabilize and lengthen your body. By connecting with your internal teacher and subtle body, you will cultivate balance, strength, and flexibility in the body and the mind.

Practices with Niki are designed to honor the seasons, time of day, and energy of the moment. By learning to flow with the natural cycles of life, we can experience greater stability and freedom, while increasing harmony, grounding, and flexibility.

*This class is best suited for students with at least six months of regular yoga practice.

Mindful & Empowered Flow

with Melissa

With a fun, and playful, spirit this class will guide you to link movement with your breath as you explore shapes with your body while fully embracing dynamic movement and static holds. Leave feeling empowered and full of strength, in both body & mind.
