Yoga Nidra for Improved Health & Vitality

Sunday, November 10th, 1:00-2:30pm

Come experience this deeply relaxing, 90-minute yoga nidra session with Judy Farniok. Yoga nidra or yoga “sleep” allows for conscious rest and relaxation to help reduce tension, anxiety, lower blood pressure, and headaches and is used to help with PTSD. It can also increase immune function and leave you with a sense of improved physical vitality. Just 1 hour of yoga nidra is said to be equivalent to 3 or 4 hours of sleep!

This practice of Yoga Nidra will begin with a focus on our breath and gentle movement preparing the body & mind for the final physically supported stage. The power of Sankalpa will be integrated into the practice manifesting the intention of gratitude and fulfillment! A Sankalpa (sanskrit meaning ‘intention’) is a tool meant to harness the will helping to harmonize mind and body.

Yin/Restorative + Thai Bodywork

Sunday, November 3rd, 6:30-8:30 pm

Rest and restore with this unique, healing workshop designed to nurture the body, mind, and spirit.

This workshop combines a series of relaxing and restorative yoga postures with Thai massage (assisted stretches). Supported, long-held Yin and Restorative yoga postures calm the nervous system and allow the body to let go of chronically held tension. Thai massage facilitates deeper states of relaxation through the release of energy blockages.

This yoga class will be led by guest instructor, Dani Coffield, while Jamie Reinbold will be providing the Thai Bodywork.
