Tricia Thomas

Tricia has been practicing yoga for more than 10 years.  In 2017, she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training for her own personal growth and had no intention of teaching.   She has been teaching ever since and absolutely loves seeing how people are able to grow in their practice.  She also completed her 300 hour advanced teaching training in 2022 at the Yoga Center Retreat. In the summer, you can find her in the Excelsior Commons teaching Donation Yoga, with proceeds benefiting the Commons.

Teaching Philosphy:

I guide - You decide.  You know your body better than me or anyone else.  YOU decide what is going to work for your body as you practice, while keeping in mind that if something doesn't challenge you; it's not going to change you.

"Tricia is a wonderful instructor! She always has enough stretching to set us up our poses. She has a great sense of humor, always bringing fun into our practice! I enjoy her practices so much!" - Linda

"Tricia is a wonderful yoga teacher! I have been going to her classes for the last 3 years and follow her to wherever she is teaching. Tricia is so welcoming, never do I feel intimidated by any limitations I have. Tricia always provides modifications making all feel welcome regardless of their skill level. Tricia is always upbeat and cheerful. I feel that sense of community I want as she takes the time to get to know her students and create such a warm, friendly environment. Once I complete a class I get a good workout, feel relaxed and in a great place to start my day." - Cheryl
