Covid-19 Updates

Dear Spirit of the Lake Community,

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing to announce that we will be closing our doors until further notice. As you may or may not have heard, the White House is advising that people do not gather in groups of 10 or more.

Even though we had already limited our class size to 9, it seems prudent at this point to do what we can to assist with “slowing the curve” and adhering to the recommendations to socially distance ourselves from one another. As much as we believe in the importance of community, we will have to find other ways to support one another during this time.

All of our yoga classes and wellness services will be cancelled and will not resume until the CDC and Government advise it is safe for all.

As you can imagine, this will be a hardship for our teachers and practitioners. I know many of you may be experiencing similar financial hardships and our hearts go out to you. For those of you who have the resources to continue to support us (financially or otherwise) during this time, we ask that you do that so we may be able to reopen our doors in the near future and provide relief to our staff, as needed.

We are offering virtual classes throughout the week so that you may continue your practice at home and still be a part of our studio, from a distance. Thank you to our amazing teachers for joining us as we learn a new way of offering our services!

Please see our online schedule for a list of our virtual classes. We are updating the schedule by the day, so know that it is likely to change and we hope to offer more in the near future. You can use your class passes and memberships for our virtual classes. See more information here

If you do not want to take classes with us virtually, please see below:

For those of you on memberships:

We can put a hold on your membership, please let us know if you do NOT plan to take any online classes with us. IF you have the means to continue to pay and would like to do that, please let us know that as well: info@spiritofthelakeyoga.com

For those of you who have class passes or wellness service packages:

We will gladly extend expiration dates on class passes and packages when we reopen.

For those of you registered for our Costa Rica Retreat:

We do not have any changes to our retreat at this time.

The outpouring of support from you, our Spirit of the Lake community, has been incredibly heartwarming and has personally helped me get through this challenging time. I am confident we will get through this together and will be even stronger because of it. Now is the time to use what we’ve learned on our mats and to bring our yoga out into the world to support one another. If there is anything we can do to help you or your families over the coming weeks, please let us know.

The light in me sees and honors the light in you,

Namaste.

Peace & Love,

Nicole
